Weatherford ISD Is Transitioning to One Plan Year for ALL Benefits!

 

To align with the Aetna TRS ActiveCare health insurance open enrollment, Weatherford ISD is transitioning to one plan year after this final fall open enrollment for Supplemental Benefits. Enrolled benefits will be effective from January 1, 2019 through August 31, 2019. Open enrollment will take place during the TRS designated open enrollment in July and August 2019 for ALL benefits which will then be effective from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020.  All enrolled benefits (except for Dependent Care Reimbursement and Medical Reimbursement) will rollover to the new plan year beginning on September 1, 2019, unless Roo Staffers wish to make changes to their benefits.  Roo Staffers wishing to make changes may self-enroll online.  For those wanting additional assistance you will be able to schedule individual appointments with First Financial Enrollers at the DSB on specified dates during summer open enrollment. First Financial also provides a toll free enrollment help line during summer open enrollment. The Benefits Office is also open during the summer months for assistance with enrollments.
